Mostafa Shawky’s "Ya Samra" Hits 1 Million Views on YouTube

In just two days, “‘Ya Samra” song has surpassed 2 million views on YouTube, ” according to a statement from Free Music.

Egyptian talented singer and composer Shawky’s video clip for the song Ya Samra (Tanned girl) has amassed more than 1000,000 views, after it was released on Free Music’s official YouTube channel on 20 January.

Being the first song released by Shawky in early 2021, it ranked 27th on most trending music videos on YouTube platform in Egypt on Saturday.

The song is written by Hisham Algakh, an renowned Egyptian writer, composed by Mahmoud El-khaiamy and the song clip is directed by Naser Mahrous, who also produces many of Shawky’s songs.

It's worth noting that maven director Mahrous, for whom this is not the first cooperation with the popular singer, directed video clips for many of Shawky's hits, such as "Maltshet Elklob" (2020), "Arqsousi" (2019), and "Wahshtony" ( 2020).
