The Red Devils are inching closer to the CAF Champions League final following an away 2-0 victory at the Mohamed V Stadium in Morocco.

A goal in each half by Afsha and Ali Maaloul as well as penalty save by Mohamed El-Shennawy gave Ahly a comfortable first-leg advantage before the return-leg in Cairo next week.

“It was a difficult game against a difficult side that was fighting to return back to the game,” Mosimane said in his post-match press conference.

“We scored an early goal and took advantage of the chance that we got after their defensive mistake which was caused by our high pressure."

Mosimane said that Mohamed El-Shennawy was in form and saved a penalty, which gave us more confidence.

"We have created many chances in the second-half and managed to add a second goal," he added. “I am very delighted with the team’s performance, but to be honest with you we could have scored two more."

The Head Coach said that he was happy with the result, but he would have been happier if his team had scored more goals.
