Today, Saturday, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency extended the no-fly regime in central and southern Russia for one week.

In a statement reported by Russia Today, the agency said that the temporary no-fly regime has been extended at 11 Russian airports until the morning of June 18th.

The statement added that it is not possible to fly to the cities of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelinzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol, and Yelista.

The agency recommended that airlines use alternative flight routes through the cities of Sochi, Volgograd, Stavropol, and Moscow, noting that all other Russian airports are still operating normally.

It is worth noting that a flight ban was introduced in a number of regions in central and southern Russia on February 24, that is, after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
