Zamalek's chairman Mortada Mansour agreed on Wednesday on any decision, which will be taken by the CAF, to postpone Zamalek and Raja encounter in the second tie of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Moroccan reports claimed earlier that CAF decided to postpone the second tie of the CAF Champions League semi-final encounter between Zamalek and Raja.

"I agree on delaying that match because we are one people," Mansour said in statements to Zamalek TV.

This delay came after eight players in Raja tested positive for coronavirus.

"Without waiting for CAF's decision, I am here now to launch an initiative to delay the game until Raja players recover from coronavirus," Mansour added.

The match is due to take place on Saturday at Cairo Stadium at 21:00 CLT.

It is worth mentioning that Zamalek took the first leg advantage after defeating the Green Devils with an unanswered goal.
