Morocco, Israel to Sign 10 Joint Agreements

Moroccan media announced on Monday that Morocco and Israel will sign 10 agreements in various fields, includes aviation, energy and industry, following the announcement of the normalization between both countries.

According to the "Hespress", its expected that an American delegation headed by Jared Kushner the advisor of US President Donald Trump, accompanied by an Israeli delegation, will arrive in Morocco Today, in the first direct flight between Tel Aviv and Rabat

On other hand, in a statement to the Israeli Kan channel, the Moroccan Tourism Minister Nadia Fattah Alawi, expected that 200,000 Israeli tourists would visit the Kingdom in 2021.

Meanwhile, the American representative for international negotiations Avi Berkowitz, explained that both sides intend to sign a number of understanding memoranda that will help revive the normalization agreements and achieve fundamental improvements for the peoples in Israel and Morocco.

Noteworthy, Morocco is the 4th country since August to strike a deal aimed at normalizing relations with Israel. The others were the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan. Much of the momentum behind the deal-making has been to present a united front against Iran and roll back its regional influence.
