On Monday, Egypt's Ministry of Military Production announced that it will manufacture the first-ever Egyptian Electric Bus "SETIBUS" in partnership with MCV, according to domestic reports.
In the same context, the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production (MoMP) announced on 28 June that it had signed a deal with MCV to produce the new bus locally.
Minister of Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsy said: "Only the engine of the bus would be provided by a foreign company and the body would be made locally."
"The raw material and spare parts will be sourced from MCV." he added.
