Since the early hours of Saturday, Mohamed Henedy's "Askar Fi El Moaskar" became a trend on Google search engine after revealing a controversial secret about the film.

The story began last year, one of his fans asked him about how "Khedr" joined military service although he is a lonely brother.

The actor's reply came somehow ironical, however, yesterday, he revealed Khedr's brother identity.

Through a post on his official Facebook account, "Khedr has a young brother. He appeared only twice in the film instead of 11 shots to reduce the length of the film."

He added, "Through 17 years, many people tried to suspect us and we were silent. That's why we decided to end this controversy."

Released in 2003, "Askar Fi El Moaskar" is one of the most successful films by Henedy. It revolves around "Khedr" who joins the military service to meet a companion who seeks revenge. So, Khedr tries to escape to Cairo with his wife.

Directed by Mohamed Yassin, the film is starring Lekaa' El Khamesy, Salah Abdallah, Maged El Kedwany, and Hassan Hosny alongside Henedy.
