Mohamed Farag Joins TV Series “Ded El Kassr”

Egyptian actor, Mohamed Farag has recently joined the cast of TV series “Ded El Kassr”, starring Nelly Karim.

It also stars Lekaa Elkhamissi, Mustafa Darwish, Hamza El Eily, Tara Emad, Hisham Ismail, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, and others.

“Ded El Kassr” is a temporary title for the upcoming production, which is directed by Ahmed Khaled, and written by Amr Al-Dali.

The series is a social-drama produced by Gamal El Adl with the collaboration of the United Company for Media Services.

Karim will star as Salma, a woman living in Rod El Farag, Shubra, who have a lot of money and being blackmailed by a man (Darwish), who wants to marry her sister (Emad).

“Ded El Kassr” is set to screen in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.

The series marks the fourth collaboration between Farag and Karim. They first collaborated in the 2015 TV series "Taht El Saytara", followed by the 2016 TV series "Sokoot Hor", and the 2018 radio series "Aatrafat Khokha".

On the other hand, Farag is also set to participate in the drama marathon with TV series “Takato Torok” (crossroads), starring Mona Zaki.

It also stars Mohamed Mamdouh, Sayed Ragab, Mohamed El-Tajy, Mayan El-Sayed, Hanan Youssef, and others.

The series is written and directed by Tamer Mohsen.

“Takato Torok” marks Zaki’s return to the drama marathon after more than 4 years of absence.

The series addresses the infidelity issue and centers around a married woman (Zaki) who discovers that her husband (Mamdouh) is cheating on her and enters into long conflicts with him.

Farag and Zaki were seen recently in the movie “The Black Box”.
