Mofeed Fawzy, a prominent journalist and television presenter, contracted the Coronavirus, film critic Tarek Al-Shenawy announced on Monday.
In a statement to "Akhbar El Yom" Al-Shenawy confirmed that Fawzy had been infected with the virus two weeks ago.
He noted that the Prominent journalist's condition is stable and he is now isolated at home receiving the treatment protocol of the Ministry of Health, however, he could not answer phone calls.
Many celebrities and famous public figures have been infected with the Coronavirus in the last period, including Yousra, Jamal El Adl, Enas El-Degheidy, Amir Karara, Jumana Murad, Wael Elebrashy, and Saif Zaher.
