Croatian reports indicated, Tuesday, that Real Madrid star Luka Modrić declined KSA's Al Nassr proposal to sign with the Riyadh-based club.
The Croatian 24sata reported that Modrić wants to end his football career at Real Madrid which is one of the top football clubs in the world.
The website added that Modrić had no idea about the club's intention for renewing his contract which will expire by June 2023.
Earlier, Marca's Ramón Álvarez revealed said that Al Nassr's offered a proposal to the Real Madrid icon.
Several reports indicated that Modrić could move to Al Nassr for free to accompany his old Real Marid mate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Reuniting Ronalod and Modrić is a main target for the Riyadh-based club. He will have 20 million euros per season.
Modrić would be a great addition to the current super-trending Saudi club due to his great contributions to the game.
