Modern Future's Ahmed Refaat to Be Released from Hospital in 72 Hours

Ahmed Refaat, Modern Future superstar, is expected to be released from the hospital in 72 hours after the latest improvement of his medical case, Modern Future officials said in TV statements. 

Haitham Orabi, the executive director of Modern Future, told ONTime Sport, that doctors will release Refaat after making sure of the well performance of his body's functions. 

On Friday, the President of Al Ahly Sports club Mahmoud El Khatib, accompanied by Osama Hosny, visited Modern Future football star Ahmed Refaat in the hospital.

El Khatib checked the medical update of Refaat, expressing his support for the player. Al Ahly's icon also wished Refaat a speedy recovery.

Refaat was moved from Alexandria to Cairo to continue his treatment after spending almost three weeks in Alexandria after collapsing in the playground during Future's game against Alexandria's Al Ittihad.

Refaat's medical condition is constantly improving, according to medical sources. The sources added that Refaat is aware, starting to move around, and eating light meals.

It is worth noting that the player was transferred to the hospital after having a heart attack during the game.

The medical teams attempted to restore the performance of Refaat's heart before transferring him to the hospital where the efforts of saving him, and saving his heart lasted for 120 minutes.
