"Mission: Impossible 7" is set to resume filming in September after it has halted production earlier this year due to coronavirus pandemic.

Last April, Paramount delayed the release dates for "Mission: Impossible 7" and "Mission: Impossible 8," which was set to be released in 2021 and 2022, however, the movies’ productions were shut down right when it was about to begin.

"Mission: Impossible 7" is now preparing to leap back into action again with filming outdoor scenes first.

In a statement, first assistant director Tommy Gormley expressed his confidence that the Tom Cruise franchise can resume production again in the next three months and be wrapped by May 2021.

Hollywood star Tom Cruise, 57, is reprising his role as the seemingly indestructible globe-trotting secret agent Ethan Hunt in the seventh and eighth follow-ups.

Cruise is reportedly building a makeshift village at an abandoned RAF site, in Oxfordshire county, in South East England, so that the shooting can be resumed.

It is also reported that the 57-year-old actor and his A-list cast will stay in VIP Winnebago trailers, which enables them to work through scenes in a bubble and protect the crew from contracting the virus.

All you need to know about Mission Impossible 7

Under the working title of “Libra,” “Mission: Impossible 7” is the latest in a line for the highest-grossing movie franchises for the Paramount Pictures franchise.

The movie is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and starring Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Ving Rhames, and others.

“Mission: Impossible 7” was scheduled to arrive on July 21, 2021, but will now hit theaters on November 19, 2021.

Meanwhile, “Mission: Impossible 8” was pushed back from its August 5, 2022 date and will instead debut on November 4, 2022.

In 2018, Cruise broke his ankle while shooting “Mission: Impossible Fallout” movie as he leaped from one rooftop to the other, and put himself at risk as he hung from a helicopter while shooting the movie.

The 57-year-old actor prepares himself before carrying out these dangerous stunts he does, which includes hanging from the side of a jet plane in the 2015 movie “Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation”, and in the 2011 “Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol” he scaled the Burj Khalifa, Dubai skyscraper, executing the stunt from 123 floors up.

The novel coronavirus was first reported in Wuhan, China, and has infected more than one million people and killed over 234,139 worldwide. It also hit several celebrities and top political figures around the world.

On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 800,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

Coronavirus can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes.

It is known that older people appear to be more vulnerable to the effects of the emerging virus.

The virus caused complete paralysis in all activities and events with large gatherings worldwide due to concerns over the spread of the virus.
