Earlier Thursday, the official spokesman for the Libyan National Army(LNA), Major-General Ahmed Al-Mismari announced that a large crowd of militias and thousands of mercenaries had been monitored in Al-Hisha, Qadahiyah, Zamzam villages, eastern Misrata.

In a post on "Facebook", Al-Mismari added that the militias had raised the level of preparedness and threatened to attack the LNA forces in Sirte, Jufrah, and the entire East, "the red line."

He pointed out that this represents a clear violation of the principles of the ceasefire.

Moreover, the spokesman stressed that the army will continue to monitor and follow up the movements of the militias, warning them not to take any provocative steps in the region.

Mesmari stated that the Libyan army is committed to the ceasefire and implementation of the 5 + 5 joint Military Commission outcomes.
