CAIRO, AUG 30 (SEE) Chairman of Transport Information Technology Khalid Attia confirmed on Thursday the launch of the first mobile application for booking train tickets in October.
He added that the program is currently undergoing experimental stages in Nile Delta governorates, and will be officially applied and available on all mobile operating systems.
He pointed out that this program will enable passengers to identify vacant seats online. "Passenger will be able to book tickets via the app, or through train station offices," he said.
