Egypt’s Ministry of Endowments announced that 5 new mosques will be opened on Friday .

The ministry stressed that these openings represent the most effective response to the evil groups that accuse Egypt of demolishing the mosques, which is completely baseless.

On August 29, Egypt’s President, Abdel Fattah El Sisi responded to these accusations at the inauguration ceremony of a national project in Alexandria.

“We demolished 30 mosques, but we rebuilt them for the national interest and development — not because of what they had accused us of,” Sisi said.

The number of new mosques that have been built in six years exceeded 1,200 ones, while 3,600 mosques have been renovated and reconstructed, at a financial cost of more than 3 billion pounds
