Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, met with Osama Heikal, the Minister of Information, to discuss ways to cement cooperation between the two ministries during the coming period.
During the meeting, the minister of culture stressed the importance of cooperation between the ministries of culture and information to implement the state’s strategy to spread enlightenment and develop awareness to build the Egyptian inpidual.
The two ministers discussed allocation of specific number of daily hours to broadcast the creative materials produced by the Ministry of Culture and presented in its various sectors in Cairo and the other provinces.
The list of the creative materials including activities such as concerts, singing, international operas, ballet, national celebrations concerts, religious festivities, cultural salons, poetry evenings, art galleries, museums, documentary films.
It would help in improving the intellectual movement in the society through the network on the national television channels.
The minister of culture said that the meeting included studying a protocol of cooperation between the two ministries to film the creative works produced by the Ministry of Culture, to be broadcast on the official state TV channels.
On his part, Heikal praised the positive valuable role of the Ministry of Culture in the Egyptian society, noting that culture is a pivot part of forming the Egyptian personality.
Heikal emphasized that the cooperation between the two ministries to implement the state general directions aims to preserve the Egyptian values, morals and public taste, by spreading awareness among the Egyptian citizens.
Accordingly, this would be achieved by publishing the creative various content of the Ministry of Culture.
