The Police Department Medical Care Unit, in coordination with the Medical Services Sector in the Ministry of Interior, organized a medical convoy to inspect the families of prisoners and those released and provide all aspects of medical care to them.

The medical examination was applied on the families at the headquarters of the Medical Care Unit and were granted the necessary medicines for them for free.

The families expressed their happiness with this initiative from the Ministry of Interior.

The Medical Care Unit of the police department also provided material assistance to a number of prisoners' families, those released from prisons, and those with disabilities from their families.

This came as a continuation of the activities of the "We Are All One" initiative and activating the societal role of the various sectors of the Ministry of Interior through the adoption of contributions and charitable activities in the interest of the Ministry to provide continuous support to the families of prisoners and those released from prison in activation of human rights principles.

In addition, many in-kind assistance were distributed to (345) cases of prisoners' families, the released and those with disabilities from those families, which consist of (number 188 different electrical devices "refrigerator, stove, washing machine" - 12 sewing machines - 2 brides "washing machine"). , Refrigerator, cooker "- number 345 food cartons - number 72 medical devices" wheelchair, crutch "- number of 200 school uniforms - number of 200 school bags - number of 200 school tools - number of 105 quilts Viber) in coordination with a number of NGOs Charitable institutions and banks.

On his part, the prisoners' families and the released prisoners thanked the Ministry of Interior for their keenness to care for them and provide them with a decent life.

The statement pointed out that the Ministry of Interior continues its efforts to provide all aspects of care to the families of prisoners and those released and to provide them with the necessary assistance, in order to complete the activation of the principles of modern punitive policy aimed at caring for prisoners after their release, and to help them integrate into society, as well as providing support and assistance to the families of those serving the sentence.
