Min. of Endowment Hails Aboul Enein Initiative to Restore Mosques

CAIRO, Jan. 28 (SEE) - Minister of Endowment Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa hailed the vow Engineer Mohamed Aboul Enein gave to develop the Prophetic family mosques in Egypt.

In a phone remarks during “Ala Masouleyyati” (I shoulder the responsibility) show with Ahmed Moussa, the Minister commented on the ongoing process of restoring the mosques all over the country. He recalled a session, which was organized on the sidelines of conference “Developing National Citizen”, saying that the session was tackling the role of investors and businessmen in serving their country and society. Back then, the ministry announced a project to restore 200 mosques, with thousands square meters in area, located at villages, and cities.. During the discussions, Engineer Aboul Enein promised to take on this responsibility, and said that all mosques, no matter big or small, will be restored in the best possible way as they are all “houses of Allah worshiping”.

The minister noted that Engineer Aboul Enein expressed a special interest in restoring Prophetic family mosques, which have, in his words, special place at his heart.

“I and all I have in the service of these mosques,” the Minister quoted Aboul Enein.

The Minister added that the Engineer had started talking with Engineer Mohsen Saleh, Board chairman at “The Arab Contractors” company to implement the restorations, while the ministry started to contact relevant authorities for issuance of formal permissions and licenses.

On other hand, the Minister hailed the Presidential initiative “Nour Hayah” (Life’s light) to cure all those suffering from eye diseases.

He described it as a ‘perfectly human initiative’ as it targets those who can’t afford the medical treatment.  He thanked the President and affirmed the necessity of cooperating from all those who can.

The Minister’s comments came after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expressed thanks to the ministry for donating 20 million EGP to ‘Tahya Masr’ fund for social charity.

On other hand, Moussa noted, during the show, about a visit paid by Engineer Aboul Enein to 'Alsayyeda Zeinab' mosque with the accompany of the Minister of Endowment, where he inspected the whole place, and got told example of its restoration requirements.
