The National Army in Libya announced that members of the "Al Qaeda" and "ISIS" factions, and militants from "Ansar al-Sharia", attacked the city of Sabratha, west of the country.

The army spokesman, Major General Ahmed Al-Mesmari said that the militias committed brutal crimes in the areas they attacked, including setting homes on fire and farms were also burned. "These militias kidnapped entire families, and took them, under weapons, to the city of Zawiya," he added.

Al-Mesmari stressed: "Our armed forces are the army of the Libyan people and our battle will never end until we eliminate ISIS and al-Qaeda terrorist organizations in our country."

On another hand, the army spokesman confirmed that Turkish President Reccep Tayyib Erdogan is exploiting Syrian youth because they are poor and recruited them to join the battles in Libya, stressing that the Libyan National Army forces are fighting a war against the Turkish army with all its capacities.

Since an inked November agreement, Turkey has been providing significant military support to the militias associated with the government of Fayez Al-Sarraj, whether by sending military advisers, soldiers, weapons, or even mercenaries from Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday that Turkey had transferred a new batch of fighters of the Syrian loyal factions to the Libyan capital Tripoli, while the international community is busy in fighting the novel coronavirus outbreak.

The observatory said that dozens of Syrian fighters arrived in Libya to participate in the fighting, along with extremist militias linked to the Al-Sarraj government against the Libyan National Army.

Thus, the number of mercenaries who have reached Libyan territory so far has increased to about 5050 persons, while the number of conscripts who have arrived in Turkish camps to receive training has reached about 1950.

Meanwhile, the observatory noted the killing of 8 Syrian mercenary fighters, bringing the death toll of the pro-Turkish factions due to the military operations in Libya to 190.

The National Army had confirmed earlier that Turkish airports are still pumping mercenaries to Misrata and Tripoli airports daily.
