Milan Duo Test Positive for Coronavirus

Gianluigi Donnarumma and Jens Petter Hauge, AC Milan's players who played against Celtic on Thursday, tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.

Goalkeeper Donnarumma featured during the full 90 minutes at Celtic Park while substitute winger Hauge secured the 3-1 Europa League win with a late goal.

Milan also said that there are three other staff's members have been put in the isolation after they contracted the COVID-19..

These infections came ahead of their Serie A home game against Roma later on today.

Milan said the results followed swab tests conducted on Sunday evening and point out that further tests of players and staff carried out on Monday had produced no further positive results.

The Italian club play their second game in Europa League Group H at home to Sparta Prague on Thursday while Celtic travel to take on Lille.
