Middle East Music Awards kicks off Tonight

Dear Guest magazine’s Middle East Music Awards ceremony will kick off Monday evening at Concorde El Salam Hotel, in Cairo governorate.

The award ceremony will witness the honoring of Hamada Helal, Tamer Hosny, Angham, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Carmen Soliman, Adham Soliman, Sara El Tabakh, Hady El Bagoury, Masar Egbari, Mahmoud El Leithy, Pousy, and others.

The event will begin at 08:00 pm (Cairo local time).

Middle East Music Awards (MEMA) is a music award ceremony that held its first edition in 2007 honoring the musicians and music industry professionals of the year in the Middle East.

The award recipients and finalists are as follows:

Talent Award: Hamada Helal, and Marwa Nagi.

Encouragement Award: Suhaila Ben Lachab, Azmy Magdy (Violist), and Demoa Tahseen.

Honor Award: Magdy El Husseiny, Awad Badawy, and Tarek Akef.

Best Singer: Tamer Hosny

Best Female Singer: Angham

Best Youth Singer: Mohamed El Sharnouby

Best Female Youth Singer: Carmen Soliman

Best Rising Singer: Adham Soliman

Best Female Rising Singer: Yasmine Ali

Best Composer: Khaled Ezz

Best Arranger: Nader Hamdy
