Mena Health Partners (MHP) has said it strives to pump $60-million in Egypt's healthcare sector by 2020.

The company revealed that it will open three medical hospitals in Egypt's New Cairo, Sixth of October, and Mohandessin.

It will create up to 1,500 job opportunities in Egypt.

MHP will open an 85-bed Katameya specialised hospital in New Cairo by the end of the year, Reuters reported.

Reuters added that another 85-bed Welcare hospital in Mohandessin will be opened in 2021.

MHP will also open a 100-bed October International hospital in Sixth of October by 2022.

Medical director of the company Hossam El-Essawy announced that activities were being driven by the administrator's arrangements to put resources into the Egyptian healthcare sector, with expenses of up to $60m by 2020.
