Meghan Markle Delivers 1st Speech in UK Since Surrendering Royality

Meghan Markle delivered her first speech, on Tuesday, in the UK since surrendering the royal duties with her husband a few years ago.

Her speech came during participating at The Young World Summit, and the Duke of Sussex Prince Harry was at the event.

Meghan Markle said: “It is very nice to be back in the UK,” adding: “You are the future, but I would like to add to that, that you are also the present. You are the ones driving the positive and necessary change needed across the globe now in this very moment.”

She described: “I’m thrilled that my husband is able to join me here this time, ” continuing: “To meet again here on UK soil with him by my side makes it all feel full circle.”


Prince Harry, and his wife Meghan Markle will make an appearance at Invictus Games press conference in addition to making a trip to the UK, Daily Express reported on Sunday.

However, the Royal figure won’t receive any questions from reporters, in addition, media outlets revealed that Meghan Markle landed in the UK.

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex will launch the Invictus Games in the favor of his sports tournament for wounded veterans.

In addition, the Sussex will make an appearance at events in London and Manchester, before heading to Germany  to mark the countdown of the Invictus Games.

Last April, the Royal couple witnessed the beginning of the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

The organization of the lately-kicked off edition of the games was supposed to be held in 2020, but it was delayed due to the pandemic.

The Sussexes attended the special reception of athletes on Friday, before watching Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge on Saturday ahead of the opening ceremony.
