A video of Lurdiana, a Brazilian bellydancer who resides in Egypt, was the main concern of many users on the internet, in the past 24 hours.
The footage, widely shared across social media within minutes, featured Lurdiana dancing, in a casual dress, inside a beauty salon to “Ekhwaty” popular song (Mahraganat).

She previously drew the attention on social media, seven months ago, during the isolation and quarantine, after she posted a video of herself dancing to the "Oud Al Batal" popular song.
Lurdiana became a familiar face to the public, two years ago, after performing at Northen Coast concerts.
The video led the public to hunt for Lurdiana’s accounts on social media and found her Instagram, which she joined in 2015, and celebrated two days ago, reaching 200 thousand followers.
The Brazilian dancer followers doubled in numbers and nearly reached 500 thousand followers hours after the video went viral.
The account also contains videos of her performing at weddings and giving dance lessons.
Lurdiana, who loves traveling, has shares pictures and videos of the places she visited. The dancer also shared on the platform her love for nature and for venturing out into it.
She also loves Egyptian history and has visited many tourist places inside the country such as the pyramids and the fortress Citadel of Qaitbay, in Alexandria.
Lurdiana always travels to Dahab and Sharm El-Sheikh. She is also keen on visiting the tomb of King Khufu.
'The video was spontaneous’
The dancer’s manager, Tarek Abdel Mohsen, stated on Monday that Lordiana is a professional dancer who has been in Egypt for 4 years and has been working on training girls in the gym.
Abdel Mohsen added, during a phone-in with TV presenter Sayed Ali on his program "Honorable Citizen", broadcast on the "Al-Hadath Today" channel, that the dancer was in a beauty center, getting her hair and face done.
She danced by mere chance, adding that the video spreading on social media was spontaneous, and was not financed.
In a statement, the Brazilian dancer stated that she did not expect the video to spread widely like that. She expressed her happiness with the comments on the footage.

Lurdiana obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Brazil. She visits her family every Ramadan, which is her official vacation.
She loves Egypt and speaks its language well and considers it her second country, even in the events that she performs, she considers it a joyful family event.
Lurdiana is single and ages 32 years old. She has never been married and is interested in working only as dancer, which she legally practices.
She used to work as a belly dancing teacher with her mother in Brazil, until she moved to live in Egypt, four years ago.
