In conjunction with the announcement of Thanawya Amma's results, the Egyptian Medical Syndicate warned on Saturday all parents and students who seek to join any medical faculty of knowing well the rules for enrolling graduates of medical colleges in  the syndicate.

Therefore, the EMS issued a set of rules enrolling graduates of medical faculties in the syndicate as follows:

1- Biology, chemistry, and physics must be studied as qualified subjects for the study of medicine.

A high school certificate must be submitted or a certificate indicating the study of these subjects when applying for registration in the syndicate.

2- The difference between Thanawya Amma's scores of students who seek to join private medical faculty and who seek to join public university shouldn't exceed 5%.

This will be applied to those who graduated from secondary school this year and next years.

3- Graduates of the medical colleges studying without training at a university hospital won't be enrolled.

Regarding the faculties that started the study, a three-year grace period is given to harmonize their statues, according to the law of establishing universities. If they don't meet the rules in the three years, their graduates won't be enrolled.
