If you’ve ever dreamt of living in the same world as the action-packed romance film “Titanic,” things just got real.

Now Chinese investors are bringing the ill-fated Titanic vessel back to life in the city of Suining in landlocked Sichuan province where tourists can soon splash out for a night on a full-scale replica.

It costs up to 2,000 yuan (approximately $150) to spend one night on the ship for the "five-star cruise service", according to Chinese media.

The city of Suining, Sichuan is more than 1000 kilometers from the sea. So the huge ship it’s building isn’t sailing anywhere soon. However, the investors hope this dreamboat will attract enough tourists to recover their $155 million US stake.

On the other hand, social media users have recently questioned whether the famous ship would attract tourists given the disaster that struck its real-life inspiration.

Notably, the real Titanic ship has captivated us since April 14, 1912, when the “unsinkable ship” collided with an iceberg in the North Atlantic and was lost beneath the water.

It wasn’t discovered until 1985, and now, 37 years later, the landlocked Chinese theme park is making it possible for you to see the Titanic with your own eyes.
