Marvel dominates 2018's box office, generates 4 Billion dollars

2018 could maybe the most dominant year in marvel's 10 year movie journey. The Film industry bought by Disney generating an estimated 4 billion dollars with it's top movies Black Panther, Avengers Infinity war and Antman and the Wasp, approximately  generating an estimated sum of 4 million dollars this year.

Marvel opened the year strong with the release of Black Panther last February. The Movie centered around Wakandan Prince Tchalla stepping in to lead his nation as the new king after his father died in Captain America Civil War. The Movie banked in 1 billion and 423 million in the box office. Although it was a great movie, the appeal of the plot was centered around Marvel introducing the first ever African Black superhero, which attracted the sights of Africans worldwide plus people with African ancestry.

The entire 10 year franchise gathered this year with the release of Avengers 3, known as Avengers Infinity war, which gathers all of the universe's greatest heroes in a fight with the Mad Titan Thanos. The Movie banked over 2 billion dollars in the box office, falling a little bit short to Star Wars the force awakens, but single handedly dominated the Box Office this year, the best part is a sequel is planned for next year, with Marvel eyeing to break the highest ever single movie earnings in Hollywood history.

Lastly we have Antman and the Wasp, a fun and colorful movie to take the fans mind off the ending of what perhaps could be marvel's darkest movie yet Infinity wars, the movie was a sequel to the antman movie released in 2015, which enjoyed a rather surprising success, the movie's plot resolves around a man wearing a suit that shrinks him to the size of an an. Antman and the Wasp was able to garner 520 million dollars in the box office
