• The Association of Friendship of Egypt and Southern Sudan, in cooperation with South Sudan Heritage House, will organize a seminar entitled "Empowerment of Women in South Sudan at the Community Level" at the Egyptian Cultural Center at 6:00 pm on Wednesday.
• Haifa Cultural Gallery's in Talaat Harb Square is organizing a workshop entitled "Creative Writing and Narrative Art", which the writer Amr Jneid will lecture about and is scheduled to start at 5 pm on Wednesday, 15 August.
• Chinese Cultural Center's in Cairo will organize the "Art Without Borders" exhibition a chinese art from Shanghai on Wednesday at 7 pm at Gezira Arts Center in Zamalek. The exhibition a collection of paintings that highlight the features of traditional and contemporary Chinese art. The exhibition is held until 19 August.
• Egypt's  star Hisham Abbas and his band will perform today at El-Mahky theatre (2) at Cairo's Saladin Citadel at 10 pm as part of the 27th edition of Citadel Festival for Music and Singing. On the same occassion, Fathy Salama along with Sheikh Mahmoud ElTohamy will perform 'enshad' (religious singing) at at El-Mahky theatre (1) at 8 pm.
• Egyptian cinema 'Dal' displays today the 1984 Drama, Mystery movie, "The Element of Crime"at 7:30. The movie is directed by Lars Von Trier.
• Ezz Shahwan and Yousra El-Gendy will perform today a concert under the name of "Takh" at El-Hekma thertre at El-Sawy culture wheel at 8pm.
• Culture palace launches its first book fair in Suez at 5 pm. That is in a collaboration with General Egyptian Book Organization. The event lasts till Aug19.
•  'The Dead Revolution' play will be performed by 'Erada Team at Romance Theatre today at 6pm.
• Cinematic Culture Centre is having a special celebration today for Suez Canal at 7pm. in Sherif St., Downtown
