Premier League title holders Manchester City sent on Tuesday a special doctor to monitor Norwegian striker Erling Haaland during his camp with the national team.
Haaland joined Norway’s squad in their preparations for clashing against Serbia and Slovenia in the UEFA Nations League during the FIFA international break.
According to the English outlet “The Sun,” the Citizens sent Dr. Mario Pafundi to monitor Haaland during the camp.
Pafundi worked as a sports doctor in Man City since Pep Guardiola took the charge of the English Premier League club in 2016.
Haaland joined Man City during the summer window as he managed to put in a brilliant performance and boost their attacking line during the ongoing season.
The 22-year-old Norwegian striker netted 14 goals during his nine matches with City in all competitions.
