Man Accused of Threatening Israeli Embassy in Jordan Commits Suicide

On Saturday, Jordanian news agencies declared that a man, who was accused of threatening the Israeli Embassy in Oman committed suicided in his prison cell.

El-Ghad newspaper highlighted the director of the National Center of Forensic Medicine stated Adnan Abbas that the departed prisoner strangled himself with a sheet, and with his body, without signs of torture, it was conceived that he had committed suicide.

In 2018, the accused was imprisoned after his plans of attacking and threatening the Israeli Embassy and its employees with a gun which is considered in the state as terroristic crimes.

He was sent to prison for 8 years. The crime came a few months after US President Donald Trump's decided to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
