Major General Magdy Al Lozi, former head of the Armed Forces Sports Authority, announced that he intends to run for the presidency of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) in the upcoming elections.
FIFA had announced earlier the appointment of a tripartite committee headed by Ahmed Megahed, after thanking the Amr Al Ganaini committee, to supervise the elections.
According to a media statement, Al Lozi announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Football Association in the upcoming elections.
Al Lozi said in press statements that he aims to support and develop Egyptian football, relying on his great record of sports achievements and the international tournaments he has achieved through his leadership period of military sports activities.
Al Lozi is scheduled to hold a press conference in the coming period to announce the details of his candidacy.
