Madonna celebrates her 60th birthday

SEE-August16th: The American Queen of Pop Madonna Louise Ciccone is celebrating her 60th birthday in city of Marrakesh in Morocco.

She posted on Tuesday a photo of herself wearing a fez decorated with Berber jewelry, with a caption saying, “Today I am wearing C A K E on my head."

Madonna who adopted 4 children, launched a collection for the charity “Raising Malawi” which supports orphans and vulnerable children.

“For my birthday, I can think of no better gift than connecting my global family with this beautiful country and the children who need our help most," she wrote on Facebook.

She told an audience of music-industry peers in 2016, “People say I’m controversial, but I think the most controversial thing I have ever done is to stick around.”
