Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and players, including Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, thanked the health care workers around the world for their efforts in combating the spread of coronavirus.
In a video posted on Liverpool's official Twitter account, Liverpool's first-team and Women's squads, managers and staff sent a heartfelt message of thanks to everyone, working in health care worldwide.
"As nurses, doctors, carers, GPs, volunteers and more continue to show remarkable resilience and bravery in dealing with the global coronavirus outbreak, many people came together at the same time to applaud and thank them for their efforts," Liverpool's official website reported.

"Me, all my assistant staff, and all players in Liverpool want to take advantage of this opportunity to thank everyone, working in the health services, " Klopp said.
On his part, Mo Salah sent a special message to them. "Thanks for your efforts, and we appreciate your efforts to help us, " Salah said.
It is worth mentioning that the Premier League has been suspended until the end of April due to the spread of the COVID-19 across the country.
The virus hit more than 500,000 people around the world, and claimed the lives of more than 24000 across the world.
Noteworthy, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic on March 11 as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 121,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
