Liverpool is hoping to bring Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho back into the squad during the summer transfers period. French Football news agency France Futbol revealed Liverpool's desire to regain their former player since he is feeling uneasy at Barcelona.

The French news agency further revealed that the Reds are not playing to spend the huge sum the Catalans paid for the Brazilian last year when he transferred with a record fee of 145 million Euros.

The Brazilian was often linked with moves to Paris St. Germain and Manchester United after failing to find his rhythm at Barcelona. Surprisingly young Coutinho played a vital role in his nation Brazil winning this year's Copa America.
