The British newspaper "Mirror" has shed the light on the expected line-up of Liverpool for their tasty clash against Manchester United.

The Red Devils are set to host the Reds at Old Trafford Stadium on Sunday in the ninth round of the Premier League.

The British newspaper reported that Liverpool could enter the game with the same starting line-up, which played the Uefa Champions League final against Tottenham in the last season.

Man Utd's encounter will witness the return of the iconic Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who suffered a late injury against Leicester City.

"Mohamed Salah picked up a late injury in that game, but he looks set to start after being put on a special training regime at Melwood this week," the newspaper explained.

Sunday's clash will witness the return of the Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker to make his first appearance since Norwich City opening game as he suffered a calf injury.

"Goalkeeper Alisson Becker will return to the side for his first appearance since a calf injury in the opening game of the season against Norwich City, with impressive understudy Adrian making way," Mirror reported.

The Reds' defender Joel Matip will also return to Liverpool after he missed the Champions League encounter against Salzburg and Liverpool's 2-1 Premier League victory over Leicester City.

"Joel Matip will also come back into the team after he missed the Champions League win over Red Bull Salzburg, in which Joe Gomez played, and the Premier League win against Leicester City, which Dejan Lovren started," the British newspaper said.

Based on the above mentioned, the Reds will show up against the Red Devils with their all major players for the first time since June's Champions League final victory over Tottenham.

"Klopp seems likely to go with Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum, ensuring that the XI that began June's Champions League final victory over Tottenham will be together again for the first time this season," Mirror concluded.
