CAF Champions League Group Stage Draw Revealed

The Confederation of the African Football (CAF) announced on Tuesday the draw of the  of the CAF Champions League group stage.

African champions Al Ahly have been placed alongside tough group as they were drawn with Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) , El Hilal (Sudan), and Al Merrikh (Sudan).

Zamalek have been placed alongside Wydad A.C (Morocco) ,Atletico Petroleos (Angola) , and GD Sagrada Esperança (Angola)

The Four Groups are as follows:

Group A: Al Ahly SC (Egypt) ,Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) , El Hilal (Sudan), Al Merrikh (Sudan)

Group B: Raja C.A (Morocco)  ,Horoya A.C (Guinea) , E.S.Sétif (Algeria)  , AmaZulu FC (South Africa)

Group C: Esperance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia)  ,Etoile Sportive du Sahel (Tunisia), CR Belouizdad (Algeria) , Jwaneng Galaxy FC (Botswana)

Group D:  Wydad A.C (Morocco) ,Zamalek SC (Egypt) , Atletico Petroleos (Angola) , GD Sagrada Esperança (Angola)

The matches will kick off in March and April.
