The Minister of Defense at the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) Salah Eddine al-Namrush threatened Monday to withdraw from the ceasefire agreement, according to Alarabiya.

Al-Namrush said: "We will withdraw from the armistice agreement if the Libyan National Army (LNA) launches any attack."

On the other side, LNA said that it is fully committed and adhered to the ceasefire agreement reached within the framework of the 5 + 5 Committee in Geneva, under the auspices of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).

In a statement, the General Command of the LNA expressed its concern about the increasing mobilization of "militias affiliated with the GNA in Tripoli and Misrata." It also expressed concern about the transfer of militias, weapons, and military equipment towards the front lines west of Sirte and Al-Jufrah, the statement added.

The statement noted: "Accordingly, we have issued instructions and orders to all units of the LNA forces to be with a high degree of caution, and not to be drawn into provocations that could lead to an escalation of the military situation."

In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Major General Khaled Al-Mahjoub, Director of the Moral Guidance Department of the LNA confirmed that Turkey is still trying to obstruct the Libyan dialogue, "through military intervention and sending mercenaries."

Al-Mahjoub explained that Turkey is still sending mercenaries to Libya snd the LNA has monitored the arrival of some mercenaries, but the numbers have decreased.

He went on saying: "The people cannot accept the staying of mercenaries, regardless of their numbers, because this affects the Libyan sovereignty and obstructs what was agreed upon at dialogues.
