Lebanon: Egypt Sends 7th Batch of Aid

Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Egypt airlifts more emergency aid to Lebanon on Wednesday, according to a statement by the office of the president.

"As a gesture of solidarity with the Lebanese people and under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Egypt airlifts more emergency aid to the brotherly Lebanese people amid the crisis that has hit Lebanon recently," the statement read.

In the 7th batch of emergency aid Egypt has delivered to Beirut, two military planes, loaded with emergency food and medical supplies, headed to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Lebanon to take the necessary measures for receiving the humanitarian aid continuously provided by Egypt to the Lebanese people.Egypt Sends 6th Batch of Emergency Aid to Lebanon

Lebanon expressed its profound thanks and gratitude to Egypt for the efforts it has been exerting and for standing with Beirut in times of adversity and crisis.

Beirut further extended its deep thanks to the wise Egyptian leadership that extends a helping hand to all crisis-stricken countries.
