Here Are CAF's Presidency Conditions

Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the conditions for running for its presidency seat through the elections that will be held on March 12th.

According to the official letter that (CAF) sent to all local federations, the door to running for president is now open for those wishing to apply until November 12.

The Confederation of African Football announced the opening of the candidacy for its presidency from now until November 12, 2020, which is the deadline for receiving nominations in Cairo

He stressed that the names of the candidates must be submitted to the General Secretariat of (CAF) by registered mail with the submission of the acknowledgment of receipt as evidenced by the attached receipt at least four months before the election date.

According to the official speech, the conditions for running for the presidency of the African Union stipulated the following items:

- To be nominated by at least one local association affiliated with (CAF).

The nomination shall be accepted if it is supported in writing by at least three citizens affiliated with the local union, and the same local union cannot nominate or support more than one candidate.

The candidate for the (CAF) presidency must have played an active role in football not less than two years from the last five years prior to his candidacy and not exceed the age of seventy.
