Weathering with You, (Japanese: 天気の子) is a Japanese animated romantic fantasy movie that was produced in 2019.

The plot revolves around a boy called Hodaka, who runs away from his remote island home to Tokyo in the summer of his high school freshman year and quickly finds himself pushed to his financial and personal limits, then one day he meets Hina, a bright and strong-willed girl who possesses a wonder supernatural ability.

Rotten Tomatoes, one of the most trusted measurements of quality for Movies & TV, described the movie as “Beautifully animated and narratively engaging, Weathering with You further establishes writer-director Makoto Shinkai as a singularly talented filmmaker.”

It has scored an approval rating of 68% from Rotten Tomatoes, 6.8/10 from IMDb, 64% from Metacritic, while 76% of Google users liked the movie.
