Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn, also known as Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey or as simply Birds of Prey, is an American superhero movie that was produced in 2020. It was based on the DC Comics’ Birds of Prey team.

The movie follows Harley Quinn as she teams with Helena Bertinelli, Dinah Lance, and Renee Montoya to save a young girl named Cassandra Cain from Gotham City crime lord, Black Mask, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz.

Robbie, who also served as its producer, had presented the idea for the movie to Warner Bros. in 2015.

The film had its world premiere in Mexico City on January 25, has grossed $190.9 million worldwide, making it 2020’s fourth highest-grossing movie.

The movie received high praise from critics over its visual style, Yan's direction, and the performances of Robbie and McGregor.

It scored 78% from Rotten Tomatoes, 6.6/10 from IMDb, and 60% from Metacritic, while 82% of Google users liked it.

One of the most trusted measurements of quality for Movies & TV, Rotten Tomatoes’s critical consensus reads, “With a fresh perspective, some new friends, and loads of fast-paced action, Birds of Prey captures the colorfully anarchic spirit of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.”.
