Workers in Kuwait managed to retrieve a dead whale, about 35 feet long, from the Heshan area near Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Bridge.

After it was pulled out of water, the Environment Public Authority, the Ports Corporation and the Public Authority for Agriculture and Municipalities, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Coast Guard operations, transferred it by a large truck before the municipality gets to deal with the dead body.

A video footage recorded the moment when the giant dead whale was transported and picked up by Coast Guard operations.

The dead whale was dragged to the port of Shuwaikh, where it was tied and lifted by cranes, with the help of an operations team and pers.

The length of the dead whale is about 35 feet, and its weight is not less than 10 tons, which made the process of pulling and lifting it not easy.

The Kuwaiti Environment Authority attributed the cause of the death of this species of whales to their old age, illness or starvation, due to the scarcity of food they eat, especially the small crustaceans found only in the oceans, as well as their collision with ships that pass.
