KSA Closes 10 Mosques after Increasing COVID-19 Infections

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance announced temporary closure of 10 mosques after reporting 18 cases and 1 death of the COVID-19 in mosques Wadi Al Dawasir.

It tweeted, "the ministry closed 10 mosques in various regions in the kingdom after reporting 18 positive cases of COVID-19, and 1 death, increasing the number of closed-off to 32 mosques."

The ministry added that 13 mosques of the 32 were reopened after sterilization.

In the same context, the Saudi minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh urged prayers to follow the medical measures against COVID-19 to avoid closing mosques.
