KSA Appoints 2nd Female Ambassador

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) appointed on Tuesday its second female ambassador, Amal Yahya al-Moallimi, as ambassador to Norway, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The first woman to hold such post is Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Washington.

Al-Moallimi took the oath of office virtually on Tuesday before Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the presence of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
