Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced, on Wednesday, that peace negotiations between Moscow, and Kyiv have not yet made any progress.

"The talks are indeed not progressing. And we do state a complete lack of desire on the part of Ukrainian negotiators to continue this process," Peskov told reporters.

In a reply to the question of whether negotiations could be resumed after the complete surrender of all Ukrainian military personnel on the territory of the "Azovestal" plant, he said, "I do not think that these processes are interrelated, and the negotiations are not moving forward."

The Russian-Ukrainian talks began at the end of last February when the Russian and Ukrainian delegations held two face-to-face meetings in Belarus.

Then, they agreed to continue the negotiations daily via video conferences.
