The official title for the highly-anticipated sequel to Netflix's 2019 movie "Knives Out".

Filmmaker Rian Johnson, who returned to write and direct the sequel, announced Monday on Twitter the title of the hit murder-mystery sequel to be "Glass Onion" — a name taken from the 1968 Beatles song of the same name.

He also shared that the movie is set to arrive in the holiday season.

Johnson noted the most iconic mystery writer of them all as inspiration for his Benoit Blanc stories, Agatha Christie.

The author is best known for her work on novels like "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Death on the Nile" — both of which have been made into movies — Christie penned over sixty detective novels, and Johnson cites her constant creativity as something he aspires to.

Details surrounding the film are still under wraps, with production wrapping in September 2021.

“Knives Out 2” features Daniel Craig reprising his role as the clever private investigator Benoit Blanc.

The sequel also stars a completely new cast, which includes Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Madelyn Cline, and Jessica Henwick.

The original movie, which had a budget of $40 million, grossed $311.5 million at the global box office.

In March, Netflix bought the rights to “Knives Out 2” and “Knives Out 3” for over $450 million.

Johnson will also be producing alongside Ram Bergman under their T-Street production company.

The movie is expected to also make a festival run before its release.
