Earlier, Liverpool demolished the Red Devils with two unanswered goals to continue their phenomenal journey to their first Premier League title in 30 years on Sunday.

Liverpool started the game so fiercely as early as after only fifteen minutes when Virgil van Dijk powered home a header, putting his side ahead.

The goal came when Liverpool earned a right-wing corner, and Alexander-Arnold swung it into Man Utd’s penalty area, where van Dijk met the ball and headed it in beyond David de Gea.

Salah scored his first-ever goal against the Red Devils; he  doubled his side’s lead in the injury time when Alisson released the Egyptian who raced through and neatly finished past De Gea.

The Reds are now at the top of the Premier League table with a 13-point lead.

It is worth mentioning that both clubs held a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Premier League.
