Today, the sister of North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong, threatened South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung Hwa after her comments about the pandemic situation in North Korea.

Kim responded to the speech made by South Korean Foreign Minister, on December 5, when Hwa expressed her doubt that "North Korea is truly free of the emerging Coronavirus, and her repeated claim that she does not suffer any illnesses."

Kim continued that "It is obvious from the reckless statements made by Kang Kyung Hwa, without any consideration of the consequences, that she is keen to ruin the inter-Korean relations."

Kim also added that "We will never forget her words, and she will have to pay for them."

The president's sister mentioned that "By the authority granted to me by the supreme leader, I have issued an order to the authority concerned with enemy affairs to take the next step decisively."

Moreover, in regards to her condemnation of Seoul, she said that she "feels that it is time to cut ties with the South Korean authorities, and we will take the next step soon."

Last week, she said, "North Korea has not responded to Seoul's calls for cooperation in combating the virus across the border, adding that it is difficult to believe its claim that there are no cases of Coronavirus in it."

Furthermore, North Korean media announced the implementation of more stringent measures to combat the Coronavirus in Pyongyang, after the capital was finally placed on the highest alert level against the pandemic.
