From the womb of suffering, ideas are born, which is the case doctors across the globe are experiencing. The White Army defends, cures, and also innovates.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minawi, a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo University was able to develop a protective shield for doctors who are on the frontline treating the COVID-19 patients.

Dr. El-Manawi created a mask for all Egyptian doctors to protect them from contracting the novel coronavirus.

The original plan was to produce 3,000 pieces of advanced protective shield and donate them to hospitals in Egypt.

However, Dr. El-Manawi received financial support from a famous public figure, and will now be able to produce 200,000 pieces, which will be distributed across Egypt for free to all health workers.
