American Rapper Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian, cast their ballot on Tuesday in the U.S. 2020 presidential election.

On election night, West acknowledged via Twitter the fact that he is not going to be the next President of the United State, at least in the year 2020.

“WELP KANYE 2024 🕊,” the rapper tweeted along with a picture of himself in front of a map of the U.S. that has all the red and blue (Republican and Democratic) states filled in with election results.

Earlier, West tweeted that he was voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust, which was himself.

He later posted video of himself casting his ballot in Cody, Wyoming, where he voted for himself.

In July, the rapper announced that he was running for president.

Kardashian also tweeted that she cast her ballot, saying: "I VOTED!!!! Did you?!?! If you are in line when the hours of operation close at the polls, they are required to stay open and allow you to vote, so do not get out of line."

The 2020 United States presidential election kicked off on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Voters will select presidential electors who in turn will vote on December 14, 2020, to either elect a new president and vice president or re-elect current US president Donald Trump, and Mike Pence.
